The 26 year-old, mother of 1 graduated from Regency Beauty Institution in 2015. Yas-meen is a self-taught braider, and has been braiding full-time since graduating. She has a passion for braiding, healthy hair, and hair growth. 

Due to being out of work during the 2019 pandemic, and missing her clients. Yas-meen wanted to create something for clients to use to keep their hair up if this situation was to ever happen again. She then came up with Beyond Texture Hair Care. "Good hair isn't the texture, it's the condition. It's Beyond Texture."
